Cupcake Market

Everyone copes with breakups differently. Some people workout excessively, travel the world to escape, or go on Tinder to get over it. However, Sarah Silverman, a native New Yorker, decided to pursue her passion for baking after a bad breakup and opened up the Cupcake Market. When I get my heart broken I usually end up at a place like the Cupcake Market and eat just about everything lol.

Back in April, Silverman thought of a brilliant idea of putting an "iconic face" on a cookie and premiered primary-themed cookies with Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Donald Trump on opening day.

She later included a Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian West, and Kanye West cookie to the collection. Instagram freaked out when these were released. And thanks to social media Cupcake Market hasn't needed much advertising/marketing because of all the tags they get from customers. We all know that when one person Instagrams something cool everyone else hops on it.

Silverman's face cookies are undeniably a huge hit and are usually sold out. Her beautiful hand painted celebrity cookies usually take about 4 days to make so if you're looking to get your hands on one you need to get there early!

The Cupcake Market also offers a variety of delicious baked goods including cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and banana pudding. Silverman's signature banana pudding with dulce de leche is fluffy and surprisingly not overly sweet. One word to describe it? HEAVENLY.

Another reason why people love to come here is because the staff is friendly and the decor is super cute. Dalia, Sarah's mom, and Alicia always greet their guests with a warm welcome. Their seating area has antiques and unique trinkets everywhere and it makes you feel like you're in someone's home.

Make sure you follow Cupcake Market on Instagram for their next featured cookie! They will be releasing their Drake cookie today and I will definitely be making my way there  :)
